Brief description of the project: Initially, the project entitled “Review of the technologies of natural gas liquefaction and technology selection based on the scale enhancement capability and the conceptual design of the selected technology” was first defined by the National Iranian Gas Company’s Research and Technology Management and the responsibility for its implementation to the Natural Gas Institute The liquidation of the University of Tehran was delegated, part of the project, including the conceptual design of the unit for the liquidation of natural gas, was carried out by the members of the engineering team. Considering the progress of work, the supplementary project entitled “Conceptual Design Review of a unit of 30 tons per day LNG based on pre- By TSA or Amen method and conceptual design of LCNG position “by M. The term of research and technology of the National Iranian Gas Company was defined and again it was transferred to the Liquid Natural Gas Institute of Tehran University. Accordingly, part of the main project was transferred from the Institute of Natural Gas to the Kimia Design and Process Company.
The major components of these two projects include:
• Library studies and collaboration with the Institute of Natural Gas of Liquid for the identification, investigation and selection of natural gas liquefaction technology based on the ability to increase the scale for low-capacity natural gas liquefaction units.
• Cooperate with the Liquid Natural Gas Institute in evaluating available technologies and providing corrective points
• Conceptual design of the selected liquidation process, taking into account PFHE as the main heat exchanger of the process
• Initial studies on various types of evaporation techniques in converting LNG to CNG
• Preprocessing (sweetening) natural gas by TSA and amine
• Conceptual design of the LCNG position
• Conceptual conceptual review of LNG units based on Amin’s pre-design
• Estimated project costs and operational requirements
